근대일본의 주옥같은 문학 작품을 개괄적으로 접하며 더불어 근대문화의 이입과 확립 양상을 살펴본다. 낭만주의와 자연주의 그리고 반자연주의와 예술지상주의 등 각 문학사조의 이념을 파악하고 각 유파에 속한 작가와 작품을 들어 근대 일본문학의 이해를 넓힌다. 아울러 한국 근대 문학의 태동과 영향 관계에 대해서도 시각을 넓혀 균형잡힌 일문학도로서의 길을 모색한다.
교과목해설(영문)
Through this course students will have an overview of the best works from modern Japanese literature and inquire into their establishment and development. They will also deal with various theoretical genres, romanticism, naturalism, anti-naturalism and art for art's sake and their model works. Also, these works will be compared with modern Korean literature in order to students to gain a balanced perspective toward the literature of Korea and Japan.
